At TLC Christmas Experience, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the magic of Christmas in a way that feels comfortable, welcoming, and enjoyable.
Our experience goes beyond simply bringing Santa to an event. With a background in special education and experience supporting individuals with a wide range of developmental and sensory needs, we understand that traditional Christmas events can sometimes be overwhelming. Crowds, bright lights, loud music, long lines, and unfamiliar surroundings can make it difficult for some children and adults to fully enjoy the experience.
That’s why we are proud to participate in and provide sensory-friendly community Christmas events designed to create a more comfortable and inclusive experience.
Santa Denver and Mrs. Tabby Claus have had the privilege of visiting
special education schools, residential programs, and Christmas celebrations serving both children and adults with sensory and developmental needs. These experiences have taught us the importance of patience, flexibility, respecting individual boundaries, and allowing each person to participate in their own way.
Whether someone wants a traditional visit with Santa, prefers to observe from a distance, needs a quieter interaction, or simply needs a little extra time to become comfortable, there is no “right” way to experience Santa.
Our goal is simple: to meet people where they are and help create a Christmas memory that is positive, respectful, and meaningful.

Every sensory-friendly experience is personalized to the individual and your organization. We take a flexible, patient approach and never expect someone to interact with Santa in a specific way. A Sensory Friendly approach will provide:

🎅 A comfortable environment — We work with families and organizations to create an experience that feels safe and welcoming.

🎄 No pressure to participate — Children and adults can interact with Santa, observe from a distance, or simply enjoy having him nearby.

🎁 Patience and flexibility — We allow extra time when needed and follow the individual’s cues.

🎅 Respect for personal space — Hugs, sitting with Santa, photos, and other interactions are always optional.

🎄 A familiar approach — Our experience as Special Educators and working with special education schools and residential programs helps us understand the importance of adapting to individual needs.
